Environment

T&D Europe members are committed to reduce the environmental impact of their products as much as possible. Since 2015, transformers for the electricity grid comply with the Eco-design regulation that ensure energy-efficient equipment is put in the market. Transformers, switchgear and other grid equipment manufacturing process is closely monitored to respect environmental regulation especially with regards to chemicals and greenhouse gases legislation.
